How does background noise reduction work?

WaveTrimmer uses a speech-preserving neural noise suppression model that runs completely inside your browser. It targets steady background noise such as room tone, air conditioning hum, and machinery drone while protecting voice clarity. Because it runs locally on your device, your audio is never sent to a cloud server. Note that it is designed for steady background noise and will not remove secondary background voices.

Is there a file size limit?

For free users, audio files must be 25 minutes or less in length. With Pro, you can process longer audio files. The actual file size limit depends on your browser and computer's memory.

Can I trim multiple files at once?

Currently, WaveTrimmer processes one file at a time. This ensures the best performance and accuracy for each trim. If you need several clips out of a single recording, use Multi-segment mode to mark them all and export them in one pass.
